Description

From an old olive oil-press, built 1886, moved by the river vez current. Among the mimosas and oaks alongside the banks the house was restored offering an unexpected architecture; gathering generous contemporary spaces with old granit walls and surrounding nature.

4 twin bedded rooms, all with private bathroom and river view. Central heating and fire places. Comfort and contemporanity.
10.000m2 of garden.
1 swimming-pool.
300m of river bank.
Natural swimming-pools. Usual visitors: otters, herons, squirrels, hoopoes.
On the foot of Soajo mountain and Peneda-Gerês National Park.

How to get there?

Casa do rio Vez: from Arcos de Valdevez town centre, take the road; (N101) Arcos de Valdevez – Monção, towards north. at 3,5km just before Prozelo, (second traffic light), turn right towards couto (follow sign), cross the bridge, our gate is immediately on the left hand side.
Arcos de Valdevez: take auto-estrada Porto-Valença (A3), arriving to IC28 junction, follow sign to Arcos de Valdevez.
Follow sign to Arcos de Valdevez.
