Facilities

Riudecòs, on the banks of the river of the same name, is situated in a valley in the foothills between el Montseny massif and les Guilleries range, two areas of great natural beauty. It is located near the villages of Arbúcies and Sant Hilari Sacalm, and the towns of Vic, Girona and Barcelona.
You should also remember its proximity to the Costa Brava and the towns on the Selva coast: Blanes, Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar.
Montseny (15km)
Declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, the Montseny massif spans the counties of la Selva and el Vallès Oriental. It offers countless changing landscapes throughout all the seasons of the year, with enormous biodiversity and a significant cultural footprint.
Guilleries (5km)
A breath-taking mountainous and wooded environment through which the Ter River winds, les Guilleries range falls within the counties of la Selva and Osona. It is included in the Pla d’Espais d’Interès Natural (Plan for the Protection of Significant Natural Spaces).
Costa Brava (35km)
The Mediterranean Coast of Girona province is formed of cliffs, coves and beaches that drop away into a seabed of incredible ecological richness.
Arbúcies (6km)
A village in the Montseny valley that offers multiple cultural, shopping and entertainment options. We suggest you take a stroll through the winding village streets and visit La Gabella, El Montseny’s Ethnological Museum, discover Montsoriu Castle, the hermitages of Sant Marçal de Montseny and Sant Pere Desplà, come celebrate the festival of Les Enramades, or go on a hike up to the peak of Les Agudes.
Sant Hilari Sacalm (6km)
This village is known as the “hamlet of 100 fountains” and is the county seat of Les Guilleries, where water and its natural setting come to the fore, and legends about Serrallonga the Outlaw abound. Go for a wander around the village and its environs. To get to know the region properly, visit Les Guilleries Museum. We suggest you also visit the old Font Picant Spa and the new Font Vella Spa, as well as attending the traditional Via Crucis (Stations of the Cross) on Good Friday, declared an official Heritage Festival Event of National Interest.
Vic (25km)
Vic is an inland town with loads of tourist, shopping and cultural opportunities. Strolling through its Old Town will reveal architectural, historical and artistic gems. You can also visit the Episcopal Museum and the Leather Art Museum. Gastronomic tourism is likewise popular in the town, as are fairs, markets, sports events and open-air activities in and around Vic.
Girona (40km)
This is a provincial capital crossed by the Ter and Onyar rivers. Its Old Town is outstanding, as are the Carolingian walls, the Jewish quarter or “call”, the Arabic baths and the Catholic Cathedral. Among countless cultural activities, you can visit the city’s museums and monuments. There is also a rich programme of musical and theatrical productions all year around.
Barcelona (90km)
This Mediterranean city, the capital of Catalonia, is open and cosmopolitan. There are countless reasons to visit. Every corner in Barcelona is worth exploring, whether for its history, art, culture, entertainment, sport, cuisine, nature resources, architecture, or simply its diversity.

These seaside towns on the coast of la Selva county, are where tradition and modernity link hands. Numerous coves and beaches for swimming plus remarkable walks await discovery, all cooled by that delightful Mediterranean breeze.

How to get there?

GPS Coordinates: Lat: 41º51'14,10''N - Long: 2º30'38,07''E
From Highway AP7, between Girona and Barcelona, go off at Exit 10 Hostalric and take the Arbúcies direction. After the village, turn off in the direction of Sant Hilari Sacalm, then after about 5km turn off for Joanet. Follow this secondary highway and in 1km you will come upon Riudecòs Farm.
From the C-25 Arterial Road (Eix Transversal), between Girona and Vic, go off at Exit 209 Arbúcies/Sant Hilari Sacalm and take the Arbúcies direction. After about 1km, turn off for Joanet. Follow this secondary highway and in 1km you will come upon Riudecòs Farm.
